Indiana And Religion

The Sign Says It All!

I'm pretty sure that you've heard about the new bill in Indiana, you can't help to hear about that shit because it's been all over the news. From what we are hearing about the shit it's a law supposedly made in order to protect business who practice their religious beliefs from persecution from doing so. And on the other side you have people arguing how the bill will allow people to discriminate against people and citing their religious beliefs as justification.

Well, I have to say that I could understand why people might be up in arms about the shit. I have to be honest when I hear something dealing with religion and religious practices I'm skeptical myself. As most of you know, I have never kept secrets about how I feel about religion but at the same time I have no issue with people practicing their religion. But when it comes to discrimination, I've got a problem with that.

Like I said before I could understand how people could be outraged when you've got a bill that's put out there on the table that might allow people to extend their religious freedom to their businesses. I don't exactly get a warm and fuzzy about this whole thing myself but it does make me wonder what they intentions are with this. Is this bill allowing people to pray at work when they are on break and not be discriminated against because of their religion or is it a vehicle for people to discriminate against somebody and cite religious freedom as justification?

I can't say that I blame people for getting all anal about the bill seeing as how people have pretty much been pushing their religious weight around and basically trying to cite religion as justification. Now, I don't know about you but it's one thing to have your religious beliefs but to push them on other people is another thing and that seems to be what has been going on lately. Hell, there was even some law maker in California trying to get a law passed that would make it a law to shoot people in the head for being gay.

I'm not making this shit up, there's actually somebody who works in the government proposing a law that would make it legal to shoot homosexuals and transgender people in the head. I know that shit is hard to believe but it's true and what's even worse is that he cites religious freedom as justification for proposing the law, which is something that should make you scratch your head.

When you think about that plus what has happened in the past with a business refusing to cater a gay wedding because of their religious beliefs it makes you really wonder about shit. I mean I'm all for respecting somebody's religious beliefs but when it comes to the point where it discriminates against somebody because of shit like their sexual orientation, gender, race or other shit like that, I've got a serious problem with that.

The way I see it, when it comes to business we're talking about business and if memory serves me correctly, everybody's money is green. If there's no good reason to refuse to do business with them, then you should do business with them. I mean if you're going to refuse to serve somebody because of their religion, their race, their sexual orientation or other shit that shouldn't matter and cite your religious beliefs as justification then you don't deserve to be in business.

From what I've heard Indiana clarified the law and stated that it wouldn't protect businesses that chose to discriminate against people based on their religious beliefs. In my book, that’s a good move because you have to make clear that it's not going to be tolerated that people use their religious beliefs as justification to refuse to do business with somebody. Now, if you refuse somebody service then it should be for a good reason not for a bullshit reason.

Well, I've got to go. Until next time wrap that rascal if she's nasty, don't forget to pull out if she's not and Happy Fucking my fellow pervs.
